Blower Door Testing Prerequisites:

• All windows and doors are installed and closed.

• Weather-stripping is installed for exterior doors

• No cracked or broken windows (both panes)

• No holes in walls or ceilings

• Electricity and water in on

• All plumbing fixtures installed and there is water in the traps.

• Interior attic access has been properly insulated and gasketed

• All recessed lights are sealed to the ceiling drywall

• Nobody will be able to enter or exit the home during testing (approx 15-30 minutes)
